There’s a figure from Greek mythology that should come to mind when you see someone hammering away at a piece of red-hot iron.

It’s Hephaestus, the god of blacksmiths.

Hephaestus was unable to walk properly due to a disability but his dexterity earned him the respect and love of many gods.

His skill with metal and fire was said to be unrivaled.

Most of the Greek gods’ fancy equipment and weapons, including Zeus’ lightning bolt, are believed to have been created by Hephaestus.

We wanted to create a video that captured him with a blazing fire, melting iron into lava, and the dynamic energy of his hammering.

On days when you’re feeling down and out, why not take a little of his energy with you?
