Jungkook of BTS will make his official solo debut with digital single "Seven" on July 14, his agency BigHit Music said Friday.

The upcoming digital single will "feature cheerful melodies, full of summer vibes," the agency said in a press release, adding that the single will be a song for summer, filled with Jungkook's charms.

Jungkook previously released two self-produced songs, "Still With You" (2020) and "My You" (2022), for free on SoundCloud.

He also participated in different collaboration albums, with songs including "Stay Alive" (2022), a theme song for "7Fates: Chakho," a fantasy webtoon created in collaboration with BTS, and "Dreamers" (2022) for the official soundtrack of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.

BTS members were seen releasing their official solo albums in 2022 and 2023, followed by their free solo tracks and album releases through SoundCloud.

J-Hope dropped his first full-length solo album, "Jack In The Box" in July 2022, RM dropped "Indigo" in December 2022, Jimin released his first EP "FACE" in March and most recently, Suga released his first full-length album "D-DAY" on April 21 under his second stage name, Agust D.

Jungkook made his debut as the youngest member of BTS in 2013. BTS is currently taking a break from its group activities, allowing members to focus on solo releases and complete mandatory military service. The boy band celebrated its 10th-year anniversary, releasing a special single, "Take Two," on June 9.
