Boy band NCT Dream garnered some 135,000 fans during its two-day concert at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium in southern Seoul that concluded Friday.
"'The Dream Show2 – In A Dream' was NCT Dream's first concert at Korea's largest concert venue, the Jamsil Olympic Stadium," SM Entertainment said in a press release on Monday. "Fans from 102 countries who were unable to join the concert in person participated through the live streaming platform Beyond Live."
NCT Dream performed a total of 29 songs, including "Glitch Mode" (2022), "Hot Sauce" (2021), "Beatbox" (2021) and "Hello Future" (2021).
"It seems like destiny that we were able to meet all our fans at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium," the band said in a press release. "Everything is thanks to our fans."
The band’s concert was originally scheduled for July 29 to 31 at Gocheok Sky Dome in western Seoul, but was said to be canceled after two members tested positive for Covid-19.
The concert was then rescheduled to a bigger venue — the Jamsil Olympic Stadium. The stadium has some 70,000 seats, nearly four times as many seats than at its previous venue.
"The Dream Show2 – In A Dream" was NCT Dream’s first in-person solo concert in nearly three years, and its first concert as a complete team of seven.
NCT Dream, one of four subunits of NCT, debuted in 2016 with the single “Chewing Gum,” which was released in both Korean and Chinese. The other subunits are NCT U, NCT 127 and WayV. NCT Dream has seven members: Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung.
