Did you know most hotels in Dubai offer exclusive beach and pool day passes? Here are 18 of the best places to enjoy a day in the sun.
Chic dreams are made of DRIFT
Taking pride of place at Al Sufouh, the expansive One&Only Royal Mirage is one of Dubai’s most opulent hotels, with extensive grounds and a long stretch of private beach. Buying a day pass to its DRIFT beach club gives you access to sun-loungers and several different pools, with lots and lots of space to find your perfect spot. This club is also one of the city's most photographed thanks to its seafresh design and sparkling views.
Budget best at RIVA Beach
Riva is a private beach club on the Palm Jumeirah’s trunk, and regularly voted a Dubai favourite. With a licensed restaurant and chilled gazebo area, a temperature-controlled pool, and plenty of sun-loungers and parasols, Riva has everything you need for a day at the beach. While it might not be as flashy as some of Dubai’s resorts, it’s also much more friendly on the wallet.
French vibes at Twiggy by La Cantine
The Lagoon at Park Hyatt Dubai has been given a chic French accent thanks to Twiggy by La Cantine. One of the few entries on this list that's not on Dubai’s coast, visitors can make the most of the adults-only 100 metre-long pool with 150m of sandy shore, that seems to slip seamlessly into the Dubai Creek. The delicious waterside fare offered up by the Twiggy chefs, featuring everything from fresh sushi rolls to light salads and more substantial pastas and mains, elevates the whole experience for the culinary crowd too.
Inclusive luxury at Waldorf Astoria Palm Jumeirah
The Waldorf Astoria name is synonymous with luxury, and the brand’s Palm Jumeirah property does not disappoint. The hotel’s beach and pool day pass can also offer great value, with access to not only the 200m beach and two pools, but also an outdoor Jacuzzi, a baby pool and an hour’s access to Coco’s Kids Club – a supervised club for children aged three to 12, offering a chance for mum and dad to relax in peace on the beach.
Beach and brunch at Summersalt
Located on the other side of the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab at Jumeirah Al Naseem hotel, Summersalt presents a combined beach club and gourmet dining experience. There are regular Ladies’ and Gents’ Days with discounted access by gender – or spend a bit more, and have an all-inclusive luxury brunch on the beach with splendid views, inclusive of access to the venue's perfect pool and beach.
Royal fun at Caesars Palace Bluewaters
Dubai's Bluewaters Island actually has several options if you're looking for day access to its beach and massive pools. At Caesars Palace itself, you can pay for a day at its Neptune or Fortuna pools or beach, with handy access to Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurant nearby. Or through the resort’s dedicated Cove Beach club, you can enjoy a day at a popular Mediterranean-style pool and beach retreat like no other.
Family day out at Jumeirah Beach Hotel
The Jumeirah Beach Hotel is justifiably famous and a great choice for a family vacation. Fortunately, a day pass to its beach and pools lets anyone enjoy the same experience, for less. The hotel's extensive beach has plenty of room for everyone to have a good time, with one of the best views around of the Burj Al Arab’s billowing sail. There are also plenty of dining and refreshment options right on the sand.

Relaxed vibes at Azure Beach
Based in the heart of Dubai’s popular Jumeirah Beach Residences, Azure Beach is generally a chilled out spot, aimed more at having relaxed fun than all-out thrills. The beach is reasonably-sized but the pool is huge, and prices are quite reasonable. Renowned for their great service, Azure’s staff will also serve food and drinks directly to your preferred pool or beach spot. If you book well enough in advance, you can also secure one of the coveted 'VIP pool islands'.
All-in-one value at Club Mina
The Mina Seyahi beach also overlooks one of the city’s yacht marinas, making it a great place to spot some glamorous-looking boats. A day pass covers not only access to the beach and lagoon-style pool, but also to the hotel’s gym – great if you want to include a workout. An added attraction is the Jungle Bay Waterpark which has plenty of thrills for all ages, though access to that incurs an additional charge. Mina Seyahi is also home to Barasti, a classic Dubai beach hangout spot, where you can enjoy beach access for free, but it does get very busy at peak times.
Iconic luxury at WHITE Beach
WHITE Beach is Atlantis, The Palm’s main beach club offering, and is perfect for spending the day at Palm Jumeirah’s most famous resort. It offers plenty of amenities and a great stretch of sand that lights up the 'gram. However, the club is not the only way to enjoy Atlantis’ beach – a ticket to Aquaventure Waterpark also includes beach access, if you’re keen on some more active fun with the family.
All-star entertainment at Zero Gravity
Located right next to Skydive Dubai’s Marina base – meaning you get a great view of their planes taking off and skydivers coming in to land – Zero Gravity is an independent beach club renowned for its upbeat atmosphere and music. This is a great place to enjoy a lively day at the beach or pool, especially if you want to carry on the fun with friends after the sun sets.
Swim sky high at AURA Skypool
Stunning sunsets and Instagram-worthy shots are guaranteed at AURA SkyPool, which soars 50 floors above the Palm Jumeirah. The world's highest 360 degree infinity pool wraps around the deck, giving you vantage points across the city's skyline. There are three different time-based packages to choose from, including an all-day option, and plenty of gourmet bites to keep you satisfied in the sunshine.
Catch up at BLA BLA
An ideal day-to-night option, BLA BLA is a one-stop social destination that comes complete with a beach club, pool area, twenty lounges and three restaurants guaranteeing you won't want to leave. Book one of the coveted orange private cabana or take in the rays while lounging on a plush sun bed. The eateries at this adults-only location serve up Japanese, Italian and Texas smokehouse specials so you're covered when you feel hungry too.
Wet Deck at W Dubai - The Palm
With chic white pods, shaded cabanas, in-water loungers that help you keep cool, and multi-layered pools, the Wet Deck at W Dubai - The Palm has a spot for everyone to perch. But that's not all – this Palm Jumeirah property also has a soft sand seafront with stunning views of the city skyline in the distance. There's usually a DJ that ensures this pool area has an upbeat vibe and party atmosphere, and you'll need to book ahead as it gets very popular, especially on weekends.
Have a fashionable day at Palazzo Versace
Located on the creek at the Jaddaf Waterfront, this designer hotel has fully redeemable passes that give you access to its three pools. Whether you are going with the family, and want to frolic in the Central or West Pool, or head for the East pool which has a lively DJ on weekends, the five-star resort pampers with its trademark Versace print subtly showing up in all your photographs. Friendly service and an Italian-flavoured menu add to the allure.
Sink into five star luxury at Ritz-Carlton Dubai
Buy a day pass at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai – one of the most popular resorts along the Jumeirah Beach Residences shoreline – and you'll have access to the resort's pristine beach, multiple pools and excellent service. La Baie provides an upbeat cabana-surrounded adult experience that's ideal for couples, while the children's pool has an adjacent sandy playground, waterfall, lazy river, slide and fully covered shallow area.
Kite Beach thrills at Sole Mio
Soak up some shoreside fun at Kite Beach with a day pass from Sole Mio. While away the day on comfortable sun loungers with the breeze in your hair and stunning views of Burj Khalifa in the distance, or up the ante with watersports like paddleboarding. You can also order your favourites from the beach's foodie hotspots, and have it delivered to you at no extra charge.
